Just received this blend along with others. Very smooth taste, not bitter, and actually a creamy taste when you sweeten slightly. Not that it needs it, but wanted to see how honey paired with this. Rich smell in package and it lingers while wet. Perfect for gongfu brewing

This is a delightful, everyday tea at an affordable price. I like to brew mine strong and this tea stands up to that without becoming bitter or harsh. Lovely smooth and mellow taste - it's a keeper!
An amazing tea that has become a part of my everyday life. Quite a subtle taste but it lingers beautifully on the roof of your mouth. Slightly sweet, quite buttery and very tasty.
I use a pinch and brew at about 75c for around 2 minutes.

First steeping: 2 minutes at 175 degrees.
This Mao Feng is delightfully mellow with a buttery and delicate vegetal taste. I detect undertones of chestnut at the end of the sip, and as the cup cools there are notes of creamy water chestnut.
Second steeping: 3 minutes at 175 degrees.
The second steeping has deleveloped a lovely creaminess and has taken on more of a water chestnut undertone. There is a very slight vegetal tang at the end of the sip.
