About us

From the garden to your kettle, nothing in between.

Every cup of tea starts far away: on a misty hillside in Yunnan, a sunlit estate in Assam, a green field in Japan or a high mountain in Taiwan. Since 2010 we have been following those leaves from the garden to your kettle, tasting, choosing and keeping only the ones we would brew at home.

Today our shelf holds more than 350 loose leaf teas and blends: bold black teas for slow mornings, bright greens and delicate whites, roasty oolongs, aged pu-erh, ceremonial matcha and caffeine-free herbals for quiet evenings. Each one is sealed in a resealable pouch to keep it fresh, and shipped from our warehouses in the USA or Canada to tea lovers around the world.

Whether you are taking your first sip of loose leaf tea or hunting for a rare harvest, there is a cup here waiting for you.

“The strawberry comes through and the lavender is actually a nice touch that isn’t overwhelming. I steep hot and top with cold water, then fridge overnight.”
Marina M. on Strawberry Macaron

“I make sun tea with this in summer, hot tea with the kettle in colder months. My favorite Earl by far!”
Helen M. on Decaf Cream Earl Grey
★★★★★
“I almost gave up on keemun tea. This one changed my mind! Full of flavour from the first sip to a lingering aftertaste.”
